है मुझे डर असफल होने का ,
है मुझे डर सब कुछ खोने का ,
है मुझे डर मेरा कुछ न होने का

खोया है काफी वक़्त मैंने,
खोया है काफी धन मैंने l
खोयी है अपनी सेहत भी मैंने,
अब हिंम्मत ढूंढूं मई किस कोने?

डर लगता है अब मुझे मज़िल से ,
डर लगता है अब मुझे नए सफर से l
डर लगता है मुझे लोगों की बातों से ,
डर लगता है मुझे लोगों के तानों से ल

थक चुकीं हूँ मैं झूठा साहस दिखाके,
थक चुकीं हूँ मैं अब हारके l
थक चुकीं हूँ मैं लागत लगा के,
थक चुकीं हूँ मैं साहस जुटा के l

सच कहूं तो मैं डर चुकीं हूँ,
सच कहूं तो मैं थक चुकीं हूँ l
बता दो लाऊं कहा से हिंम्मत मैं ,
बता दो लाऊं कहा से साहस मैं l

Gender neutral

“Naari agar tu Narayani hai toh Nar tu Narayan”

This women’s day let’s stand together,
neither women above men nor men above women.

Respect both the genders as individuals not due the gender one acquires
Expect from individuals and not from their gender,

Blame the culprit, but not the gender;

Appreciate an individual not an individual gender from that community by degrading same community;

And most importantly the individuals are too good, not too good for one’s gender.


Let’s celebrate equality this women’s Day and not just WOMAN’S DAY.

Let’s be and preach to be gender neutral.

This is a world full of patriarchy,

Which always shows immense partiality.

From our birth to death,

We are made to believe this in every breath.

People do talk about equal rights and duty,

But in the execution lies it’s beauty.

Be it school life, pay scale or placements,

We are always expected of adjustments.

This is a world full of patriarchy,

Which always shows immense partiality.

People talk about gender equality,

But why always it has to be selective equality.

If one part of the world has right to be listened every single time,

So why are we not heard even a single time.

“You are a girl.”, we often hear that,

“Let me hear you.”, no one says that.

This is a world full of patriarchy,

Which always shows immense partiality.

We don’t mind being hated,

But for wrong reasons, we do mind being hated.

Let’s this women’s day we pledge,

It is the equality, that we will hedge.

We won’t see equality towards women cry,

It is level playing field for both the world we would try.

And won’t let this world be full of patriarchy,

Which always shows immense partiality.

Her skin is the slope, one can slide on.

Her heartbeat is the music, one can listen to,

But he always chose to hold her hands to be with her,

and listen to the continious chatters of her.

So why marriage has to be society’s creation?

No matter what happens in life, don’t feel low,

As the target is not so far;

It is the hard work to which you should bow,

Which will you to the success at par.

Happiness doesn’t lasts which one borrows,

It’s like we need to return the the borrowed car.

The phases of moon makes tide high and low,

The shelter of poor the seas mar,

But they don’t sit in sorrow,
